The Aladdin costume is for anyone who enjoys a rags to riches story. Or even just a good story! The Disney movie, released in 1992, was a hit from the beginning.

As the movie starts, we see that Aladdin is caught in a paradox. He is being raised by thieves and villains, but at heart he is good, kind-hearted and steadfast. He wants to rise above it all, but doesn't know how.

As the story continues, he's commissioned to steal a magic lamp. He does steal it away, then finds that it's inhabited by a magic genie, who has the power to grant Aladdin his heart's desire. Providing he can be released from the lamp, of course!

And there's another complication; Aladdin falls in love with Jasmine, a royal princess. How can he win the heart of his love, when he's just a street thief?

All turns out right in the end. Aladdin and Jasmine take a magic carpet ride, fall in love, and the Genie grants Aladdin his wish of nobility. Happily ever after!
