Snow White Costume
The Snow White costume is probably the most sought-after of the Disney character costumes. And with good reason; she was one of the first of the Disney Princesses that was immortalized in film, in 1937.
We grew up with the story of a princess, forced to be a scullery maid by her evil stepmother, the Queen. "Magic mirror, on the wall/Who is the fairest of them all?". Well, the Queen wasn't happy to hear it was Snow White!
After ordering Snow White to be killed, the huntsman who was to do the dirty deed couldn't bear to take her life. Snow White thus ended up in the forest with the Seven Dwarfs. Alas, the Queen finds out that Snow White is still alive, and dressing up as a hag, she offers Snow White a poisoned apple.
We know the rest of the story; that her true love finds her and awakens her with a kiss. And of course, they live happily ever after!
